Freddy Adu was born in Ghana and moved to the United States at a young age. He started playing soccer at the age of 5 and quickly showed immense talent. By the time he was 14, he was being compared to the legendary Brazilian soccer player, Pele. He was signed by D.C. United, becoming the youngest player in Major League Soccer history.
